About the position

The T-SQL Database Admin position is an entry-level role within the IT department, focusing on metadata administration, application security, and data analysis for case management systems. The role involves applying customized business rules to the data store and performing various maintenance tasks using T-SQL and in-house tools. This hybrid remote position allows for remote work on Mondays and Fridays, with the potential for right-to-hire after six months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor helpdesk ticket queues and prioritize tasks based on severity and priority levels.
• Perform lookup value and metadata entry and maintenance to support the application.
• Understand the Administration screens and use the application where appropriate.
• Perform user security change requests using in-house tools and template T-SQL scripts.
• Utilize knowledge of T-SQL to perform application metadata and security maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement data scripts using IDERA Rapid SQL for SAP ASE databases.
• Perform testing of lookup values, metadata modifications, and application security for quality assurance.
• Perform metadata analysis to ensure the case management systems function properly.
• Assist with maintaining procedural documentation for the metadata administration and application security tasks.
• Assist team members and training staff with the collection and implementation of metadata.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of T-SQL fundamentals.
• Bachelor's degree with an IT-related major or minor; OR Associate's degree with an IT-related major or minor and two years of experience in the IT area.
• Satisfactory criminal background check required.
