As an Application Engineer at Schaeffler, you will play a crucial role in defining specifications and product performance requirements through direct interaction with customers. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product development engineers to ensure that the product data aligns with customer applications. You will lead team meetings, track project progress, and manage changes related to product and budget to ensure that all projects meet their defined targets. Reporting project status to Schaeffler management will be a key part of your role, focusing on quality, timing, cost (QTC), and project budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing and signing off the Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) in collaboration with customers and development engineers. You will also initiate and conduct the System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with customer engineers and support the development of the Design FMEA.
