About the position

The TA Treasury Ops Associate Analyst will act as a subject matter expert within the TA Treasury Operations team, responsible for managing money movement instructions across multiple banks and business partners. This role involves collaboration with Team Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily functions, as well as escalation of operational issues. Key tasks include managing cash investments, funding shareholder check-writing, and maintaining procedures, all while ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Enter money movement instructions for multiple banks and business partners.
  • Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily functions.
  • Escalate daily operational issues to Team Leads and Manager as appropriate.
  • Invest excess cash and fund daily shareholder check-writing presentments.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for the TA Treasury Operations team.
  • Allocate expenses from treasury accounts and review bank bills.
  • Monitor treasury account bank balances and enter high dollar transfer agent shareholder and expense payment wire transfers.
  • Report cash requirements for shareholder check writing activity and process stop payments.
  • Review intraday and prior day bank account balances, researching and escalating exception items as appropriate.
  • Analyze and pay banking service charges for transfer agent bank accounts, resolving service issues and highlighting bill exceptions to internal partners.
  • Conduct fund income and expense analysis and allocation, developing relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Help junior staff with issues and resolve more complex issues, working with manager and leads on task improvements.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
