About The Position

The Table Games Dealer Training School at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort is designed for candidates to learn the skills necessary to become a Table Games Dealer. Participants will receive training on blackjack and other specialty games, and upon successful completion of the program and audition, they will be eligible for part-time or full-time dealer positions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer relations and leadership skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
• Ability to convey information effectively to others.
• Attention to detail.
• Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment.
• Deal one or more games to provide guests with courteous and accurate service while promoting an entertaining environment.
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors at all times.
• Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, creating positive energy with gestures and sustaining enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
• Possess money-handling skills, count large sums of cash, and exchange for table chips.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all casino games certified to deal.
• Document strong knowledge of department policies and procedures, including federal and regulatory laws and guidelines.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
