About The Position

The Table Games Floor Person is responsible for overseeing the operations of assigned table games, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations while maintaining a high standard of guest service. This role involves supervising dealers, monitoring game integrity, and fostering a positive environment for both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Table Games Operations supervisory role or three years as a Table Games Dealer.
  • Thorough knowledge of Blackjack, Baccarat, and at least one other table game.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively to groups.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems with concrete variables.
  • Must qualify for and maintain a class 'A' gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining environment with service excellence.
  • Supervise, coach, instruct, and direct dealers in table games operations.
  • Monitor table games activities for adherence to rules and regulations.
  • Protect the integrity of table games and monitor transactions.
  • Assist in the interview and hiring process for new dealers.
  • Administer disciplinary actions and monitor performance post-discipline.
  • Evaluate the performance of assigned team members.
  • Use a system of record for journaling team members' performance.
  • Track and document patron play including wagers and outcomes.
  • Ensure professional care and service to guests and team members.
  • Maintain the integrity of games, currency, chips, and assets.
  • Foster open communication with departments and superiors.
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to dealers.
  • Manage and direct the performance of assigned dealers.
  • Maintain grooming and conduct standards for self and dealers.
  • Interact positively with team members to promote team spirit.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including managing staffing levels and pit operations.
