About the position

The BI Reporting Tools Engineer will oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's BI Reporting tools within an AWS infrastructure, specifically focusing on Tableau and other BI reporting tools. This role involves collaboration with various teams to develop and maintain AWS infrastructure, create BI reporting dashboards, provide user support, and handle patching and upgrades of the AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tableau in AWS at scale.
• Provide user community support and lead user training on Tableau and BI Reporting tools.
• Manage the Tableau Server infrastructure with best practices in security protocols, database connections, authentication, and licensing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics using Tableau and other BI reporting tools in AWS for various departments and business units.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify their needs and requirements regarding reports and dashboards.
• Strong AWS skills on managing Infrastructure at scale.
• Automate processes using Bash or Python to streamline data extraction and report generation.
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot system configurations, deployments, data source connections, and scheduling of reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Tableau and AWS infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining BI reporting tools and dashboards.
• Experience in user support and training for BI tools.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for Tableau Server management.
• Ability to automate processes using Bash or Python.
