About the position

The Tableau Administrator role focuses on implementing and managing large-scale Tableau and data warehouse solutions for clients. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to guide a data analytics team while ensuring adherence to best practices in Tableau development and administration. The role also involves migrating clients from legacy systems to modern data platforms and executing strategic architectural visions.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-facing large-scale Tableau and data warehouse solutions.
• Assist clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms.
• Articulate, define, and execute a strategic vision of proposed architecture.
• Develop and enforce standards in Tableau and development best practices.
• Lead a data analytics team with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Administer Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud.
• Provide advanced expertise for the administration, configuration, and support of applications.
• Design application-specific failover processes and strategies to ensure services align with defined Service Level Agreements.

Requirements

• Experience with implementing large-scale Tableau and data warehouse solutions.
• Ability to articulate and execute a strategic vision of proposed architecture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.
• Expertise in dashboard and data visualization design.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and data discovery.
• Experience with Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud administration.
