About the position

The Tableau Analyst position is a full-time role based in Reston, Virginia, requiring an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. This position is a contingency hire supporting a government agency, where the selected applicant will play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of Tableau dashboards. These dashboards are essential for supporting the agency's mission in information technology, infrastructure, and program planning related to development and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. The Tableau Analyst will be responsible for developing dashboards that illustrate strategic goals and objectives, creating enterprise artifacts necessary for management decision-making, and refining decisional aids for senior-level review. Additionally, the role involves performing resource allocation analysis, developing metrics, and providing performance summaries to ensure that the agency's objectives are met efficiently. In this role, the Tableau Analyst will also aid in the management and technical execution of activities performed by development contractor personnel. This includes satisfying the requirements identified for each Agile Program Increment as directed by the Government. The team member will support the integration and implementation of end-to-end solutions into the enterprise and participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government. The role will require reviewing development contractor artifacts and documentation, providing integration and decision support expertise to senior leadership and other stakeholders, and ensuring that decisions consider the implications for tactical and strategic priorities and backlog, in accordance with prior decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards in Tableau illustrating strategic goals and objectives
  • Develop enterprise artifacts required for management decision
  • Develop and refine decisional aids for senior-level review
  • Perform resource allocation analysis, develop metrics, provide performance summaries
  • Aid in the management and technical execution of activities performed by development contractor personnel
  • Support integration and implementation of end-to-end solutions into the enterprise
  • Participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government
  • Review development contractor artifacts and documentation as directed by the Government
  • Provide integration and decision support expertise to senior leadership and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Must have possess an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Skilled in Tableau analysis and data visualization
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to clearly articulate requirements definitions and their dispositions to senior executive government leadership
  • Working understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and or knowledge of Agile Development techniques and related issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams in requirements development activities
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leadership

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience across the program life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, and sustainment)
  • Experience in the use of SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework
  • Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), other SAFe certifications or coursework
