About the position
The Tableau/BI Developer position is focused on leveraging extensive experience in Tableau and Business Intelligence development to create insightful data visualizations and reports. The role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and familiarity with various programming languages. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions, particularly within the financial industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.
- Implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Utilize SQL and other tools to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing BI applications.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in Tableau/BI Development.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ODS concepts.
- Basic understanding of OOP principles in programming languages such as Python, Java, or .Net.
- Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive SQL, SPARK, and Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL and SnowPipe is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
