About the position

The Tableau CRM Lead Developer is responsible for connecting Tableau CRM to various data sources, performing data cleaning and transformation, and developing interactive dashboards and reports. This role involves customizing Tableau CRM applications, providing user training and support, optimizing dashboard performance, and ensuring data governance and compliance. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and generate insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Connect Tableau CRM to various data sources (Salesforce and external databases).
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for analysis.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Utilize Tableau CRM features like lenses, dashboards, and datasets effectively.
  • Customize Tableau CRM applications to meet business requirements.
  • Configure user permissions and data security settings within Tableau CRM.
  • Provide training to end-users on how to use Tableau CRM tools and dashboards.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to dashboard performance or data accuracy.
  • Monitor and optimize dashboard performance for speed and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for data visualization and user experience.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and business objectives.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for dashboard development.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Implement data governance practices within Tableau CRM.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions.
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Tableau CRM features, updates, and best practices.
