Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that support business intelligence and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring that data solutions meet business needs. In addition to dashboard development, the role involves performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, optimizing and maintaining existing Tableau dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations. Staying updated with Tableau best practices and new features is also a key aspect of this position, as it ensures that the solutions provided are both effective and innovative. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in data visualization, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Tableau Desktop Developer and a solid understanding of SQL, data querying, and the fundamentals of data modeling.
