About the position

KeyLogic is seeking a motivated Tableau or Denodo Developer to join our Research and Development focused department in Albuquerque, NM. This department is dedicated to developing and supporting agile, integrated, process-based software solutions that enable a world-class national laboratory to achieve its business and mission objectives. Our focus is on the health and safety of employees, as well as the protection of the environment, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We collaborate closely with partners across Nuclear Deterrence to deliver software systems that support all phases of the product lifecycle, specializing in data integration solutions that enable digital engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for researching tasks, developing solutions, providing documentation, and working with Denodo and Tableau. You will utilize Java to develop custom security policies and administer the Denodo environment, while also training our developers in system administration. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to support current technologies and lead improvements and new architectures in alignment with future program goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with partners from various technical disciplines in support of a National Mission.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Denodo for the current list of applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Configure authentication and access management across Denodo and Tableau.
  • Document authentication gaps and challenges.
  • Administer Denodo environments and train our developers in system administration.
  • Java development for custom security policies.
  • Perform data profiling, mapping, and transformation to ensure accurate and efficient data integration.
  • Develop and maintain data integration workflows, scripts, and ETL (Extract, transform, Load) processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • DOE Q Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to obtain Sigma 15
  • Ability to work on site and therefore will need to reside in the Albuquerque area
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or an Associate's degree with 11 years of experience, or an additional 6 years of job-related experience totaling 14 years
  • Proven experience as a Data Integration Specialist, preferably with hands-on experience with Denodo
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, techniques, and best practices
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and processes
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
