About the position

The Tableau Developer Analyst at Casa Cuervo is responsible for designing, developing, and managing enterprise-level analytics solutions using Tableau. This role involves creating visualizations, maintaining data sources, and ensuring the effective use of Tableau across the organization. The analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design prototypes and maintain enterprise-level analytics solutions using Tableau.
  • Develop Tableau visualizations to support the organization, including ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Prepare time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables for internal stakeholders, collaborating with the Commercial Strategy team.
  • Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security models.
  • Curate and publish standardized data sources for Creators to access via Tableau Cloud.
  • Uphold visual analytics best practices and create user-friendly Tableau workbooks.
  • Monitor and maintain workbooks hosted on Tableau Cloud, including setting refresh schedules and diagnosing issues.
  • Onboard new users into the Tableau program and assist with licensing and governance.
  • Train, educate, and troubleshoot Tableau users through working sessions.
  • Create and improve resources and documentation for Tableau users.
  • Support and document business requirements for Tableau projects, translating them into analytical specifications.
  • Assist with Tableau Cloud administration, monitoring environments, and repairing issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, and foundational data analytics.
  • Expertise in dashboarding software such as Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, or Looker.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including VisQL, SQL, Python, Java, C, or C++.
  • Expertise in ETL tools like Matillion, Alteryx, or Fivetran and maintaining Cloud Databases such as AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Proficient in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 3+ years in the Spirits or CPG industry, particularly in Category Management, Market Research, or Market/Pricing/Data Analytics.
