The position involves working closely with the Analytical Team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables while adhering to budget constraints. The role requires supporting and documenting business requirements for Tableau projects, translating these into analytical and technical specifications as necessary. A significant part of the job includes developing Tableau visualizations to meet ad-hoc data analysis requests, as well as prototyping and building modern Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions using Tableau. Additionally, the candidate will execute test plans and perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure the functionality and data integrity of reporting and dashboard solutions. Building and maintaining relationships with the Tableau user base is crucial, as is sharing best practices and providing specific support when required. The ability to understand and translate data into actionable business insights is essential, along with the capability to join data from multiple systems and sources using SQL and Excel. The role also involves mining large datasets and summarizing analysis and findings for users. The candidate will be responsible for developing reports on SAP Business Objects and creating Excel refreshable files. Maintaining data quality is a key aspect of the job, which includes identifying issues, removing duplicates, cleansing data, and enriching data quality. Supporting the long-term vision of the supply chain through effective implementation of business processes and best practices is also a critical responsibility. The role may require conducting research to identify new solutions, leading frameworks, and best practices to support the delivery of Tableau projects. Other job-related duties include preparing training materials and providing mentoring and support to other analysts to assist in their development regarding data, processes, reporting, and utilizing self-service tools.
