About the position

The Tableau Developer at Booz Allen is responsible for analyzing business operations and procedures to enhance efficiency. The developer will manage database tables and perform data management tasks while participating in project analyses and employing project tracking methodologies. Responsibilities

• Analyze business or operating procedures to devise efficient methods of accomplishing work.
• Plan studies of work problems and procedures, gather and analyze data, and document findings.
• Prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
• Collate information into meaningful reports and presentation materials.
• Perform data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities in reporting systems.
• Analyze project requirements, including program scheduling and resource determination.
• Participate in impact studies, cost and benefit analyses, and dependency models.
• Conduct root-cause and corrective action analysis.
• Produce visualizations to communicate findings using tables and charts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with data in a professional environment.
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization, including Tableau.
• Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approaches.
• Ability to display a keen eye for detail and uncover trends in data.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Military, specifically U.S. Navy or U.S. Naval Aviation.
• Experience with SQL, R, SAS, Python, or Tableau Prep.
• Experience with data structures and systems in a DoD environment.
• Master's degree.
• Tableau Desktop Certification.
