About the position

The Tableau Developer role focuses on creating data visualization solutions to enhance business and technology processes. This position involves developing Tableau dashboard reports, collaborating with developers, and generating business intelligence reports. The developer will also participate in feedback sessions to refine systems and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create technical solutions to meet business and technology needs by translating requirements into actionable plans.
• Develop tools for effective data storage and maintain data analytics platforms for future data mining.
• Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to troubleshoot and analyze system performance.
• Evaluate and improve existing systems, collaborating with teams to integrate new solutions and streamline workflows.
• Create and update technical documentation and reports based on completed projects for reference by IT staff.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau Cloud, and Amazon Postgres.
• Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and client requirements.
• Problem-solving abilities to address issues during the development process.
• Innovative mindset to create creative solutions to business challenges.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in coding and data management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Tableau certification (preferred but not required).
