About the position

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and be proficient in utilizing Tableau to create insightful dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau software
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
• Create data visualizations that provide meaningful insights for decision-making
• Optimize dashboard performance and ensure data accuracy
• Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support as needed

Requirements

• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
• Strong understanding of database design principles
• Experience with RESTful APIs for data integration
• Knowledge of SQL for querying databases
• Familiarity with related technologies such as Talend, Hadoop, Informatica, and Java is a plus
• Ability to work with linked data sources for enhanced analytics
• Familiarity with VBA for automation tasks would be advantageous
