About the position

The Tableau Developer at Kforce Inc is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and reports to support clients' data visualization needs. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conducting data analysis, and providing technical expertise in Tableau Server administration. The position aims to enhance decision-making processes through effective data visualization and insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively visualize data insights.
• Utilize Tableau best practices to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Implement data-driven solutions that meet client requirements and enhance decision-making processes.
• Provide technical expertise and support in Tableau Server administration and maintenance.
• Create documentation and provide training to end users on Tableau functionality and best practices.
• Stay updated with Tableau advancements and recommend innovative solutions to improve data visualization capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
