About the position

The Tableau Developer role focuses on designing and implementing data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, while also managing large datasets through SQL. This position requires effective communication with customers to analyze historical data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and improve data processing efficiency through automation. The developer will also be responsible for ensuring that reports meet team requirements and for analyzing data trends to provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Designing dashboards with the use of visualization tools using Tableau
• Using SQL for managing large volume of data
• Communicating with customers to analyze historical data and identify KPIs
• Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations
• Tweaking SQL Queries for best performance
• Making sure the team delivers reports as per the requirements
• Analyzing the data so as to identify trends and share insights
• Implementing Tableau mobile dashboards with the help of Tableau mobile application
• Creating Thematic Heat maps with the help of MapInfo
• Recognizing areas for automation
• Restricting data for particular users with the help of User filters
• Producing support documentation and keep existing documentation up to date
• Carrying out investigation of root cause analysis

Requirements

• Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard design and implementation
• Strong SQL skills for data management and automation
• Experience in data analysis and identifying KPIs
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Experience in creating mobile dashboards using Tableau
• Knowledge of MapInfo for creating thematic heat maps
• Experience in producing and maintaining documentation
