About the position

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with a strong background in healthcare for a short-term contract with a local healthcare provider in Boston. The role focuses on creating dashboards and reporting tools to analyze social determinants of health for patients in the Boston area. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand data requirements and objectives.
• Integrate various data sources to provide comprehensive insights into social determinants of health.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and dashboard outputs.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a developer, with a minimum of 2 years in life sciences.
• Proficiency in SQL and data integration processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations.
• Previous work on projects related to social determinants of health.
