About the position
As a Tableau Developer at SciPlay, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data visualization tools that enhance decision-making and drive company growth. This position involves creating compelling visualizations, analyzing complex business problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights that influence strategic planning. Your work will directly impact the company's productivity and success, allowing you to take ownership of significant projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Building, designing, and maintaining flexible and user-friendly dashboards for daily use by Senior management, product teams, and other business units.
- Taking ownership of all front-end data solution development.
- Creating strong and focused data visualization solutions, summarizing big data to key insights needed on a regular basis.
- Determining the right analytical approach to solve key business problems.
- Understanding the business impact, structure, and logic of the data, translating it into actionable insights, and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Translating business requirements to technical specifications.
- Working closely with BI and DE teams to implement data requirements.
- Creating various reports, dashboards, forecasts, etc., and participating in solution design for both ongoing and ad hoc business requirements.
- Identifying problems and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and tools, and providing solutions.
- Creating and maintaining reference documentation or reports for finalized projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Tableau development
- Advanced SQL - Data extraction and manipulation skills, stored procedures, performance tuning
- Experience from an online-tech company
- Strong data visualization, UI/UX, and storytelling skills
- Python experience - Advantage
