About the position

As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports that provide insights into business performance. You will leverage your expertise in BI tools, particularly Tableau, to develop visually appealing and informative dashboards. Your strong SQL programming skills will be essential for querying databases and extracting the necessary data to support your reports. Additionally, you will be expected to document your processes and findings, ensuring that your work is accessible and understandable to stakeholders across the organization. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will validate reports and seek sign-offs from end users, ensuring that the final products meet their needs. Your ability to present information clearly and engagingly will be crucial in communicating your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Furthermore, you will be involved in product testing, usability testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the solutions you develop are effective and user-friendly. In addition to your technical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports using Tableau and SQL to provide insights into business performance.
• Create visually appealing dashboards that effectively communicate data findings.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report developers.
• Validate reports and request sign-offs from end users to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Conduct product testing, usability testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Present information and ideas to audiences in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and work towards common goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or other STEM fields.
• Strong expertise in BI tools, particularly Tableau, and SQL for report development.
• Experience in graphical data representation using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Skilled in documentation and database reporting for analysis and decision-making.
• Strong SQL programming skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
• Experience in product testing, usability testing, and UAT.
• Ability to create solution specifications documents for report developers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python coding and/or Power BI.
• Background in finance and business analysis with reporting or requirement documentation.
