GSG is seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. The ideal consultants will have a background in the asset or investment management space, proficiency in Tableau, and experience with Python and data science. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications.
  • Utilize Python to automate data processing and enhance the functionality of Tableau visualizations.
  • Apply data science techniques to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all Tableau solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer, preferably within the asset or investment management industry.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Background in data science is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience working across Microsoft platforms, including Excel, SQL Server, and Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Tableau (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Knowledge of financial and investment data and metrics.
