About the position

The Tableau Developer will be part of the Daiichi Sankyo IT MARS Team, focusing on creating various data visualizations using Tableau to support a data-driven culture in Research and Development (R&D). This hands-on technical role requires strong expertise in Tableau and analytical skills to build reports and dashboards that effectively present data to end users.

Responsibilities

• Build a variety of data visualizations leveraging data from the R&D Data Lake.
• Create reports and dashboards that facilitate data consumption for end users.
• Determine the best presentation methods for data to enhance user understanding.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective data representation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau Data Visualization Tool.
• 3+ years of SQL experience, including writing complex queries, joins, unions, and group by operations.
• 5+ years of experience with MS Word, MS Excel, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of databases such as Redshift and Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with Clinical Trials Data, Real World Data, and Claims Data.
• Tableau Certification preferred or 10+ years of experience in Tableau report development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Spotfire as an additional data visualization tool.
