About the position

The Tableau Developer will be responsible for implementing data intelligence solutions, focusing on data analysis, visualization, governance, and quality assurance. This role requires collaboration with diverse IT teams and a strong emphasis on innovation and research in data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build data visualizations to support the business intelligence roadmap.
• Administer Tableau Server/Cloud, including monitoring environments and diagnosing problems.
• Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security models.
• Curate and publish standardized data sources for Tableau Cloud access.
• Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot network/server issues.
• Serve as backup Server Administrator for Tableau software installations.
• Create, modify, and manage Tableau Server task schedules.
• Monitor Tableau Server activity and usage statistics for performance enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Tableau and data analytics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 5-10+ years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence.
• 3+ years of cloud architecture experience.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Tableau.
• Expertise in Teradata and associated utilities.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud and Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen 2).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and milestones.
• Ability to work well in a matrixed team environment.
