About the position

Infosys is seeking a Tableau Lead Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts for Tableau projects.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules and lead validation for testing.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities related to Tableau solutions.
• Provide analytical support and data-driven strategies to identify key metrics for business clients.
• Develop and publish Business Intelligence dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Articulate and understand requirements and design specifications from business users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Proven experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Data Visualization tools like Tableau.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning of SQLs.
• Extensive experience in developing Business Intelligence dashboards using Tableau Desktop and publishing to Tableau server.
• Excellent communication skills to manage client stakeholders and internal teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in creation/modification of optimized SQL queries for data setup.
• Sound knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
• Hands-on experience in database and table design.
• Experience working with large volumes of data.
• Desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
