About the position

Infosys is seeking a Tableau Lead Developer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. As a Tableau Lead Developer, you will leverage your expertise in Tableau to drive the implementation of data visualization solutions that meet client needs. Your role will also involve mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices to enhance the overall capabilities of the team. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results in a timely manner. This role may require travel to project locations, and candidates must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time, and effective communication through various channels is essential.

Responsibilities

• Enable digital transformation for clients in a global delivery model.
• Research on technologies independently and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Interface with key stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Drive the implementation of data visualization solutions using Tableau.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices with the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Tableau.
• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
