About the position

The Tableau Lead Developer will play a crucial role in partnering with clients to deliver innovative data solutions. This position requires extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and visualization tools, particularly Tableau and Power BI. The developer will be responsible for articulating technical solutions to diverse audiences, ensuring effective communication, and addressing customer needs through strategic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with clients to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Expand expertise in Data Engineering, Big Data, Analytics, and Visualization tools.
• Articulate and communicate with internal and external customers of varying technical proficiency.
• Identify opportunities to address customer needs as a thought partner.
• Participate in business development through proactive or competitive bids (RFx).
• Provide solutions, architectures, and use cases to help customers meet their objectives.
• Develop robust recommendations, proposals, and scope of work documents for consulting engagements.
• Balance business and technology acumen to articulate technical solutions to business problems.
• Present complex information in compelling narratives for various audiences.
• Work on large-scale analytics projects, architecting big data environments, and leveraging visualization tools.
• Create proof of concepts, demos, and scripts from scratch or using reusable components.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture and building capacity plans for BI & Data Analytics transformation initiatives.
• 8+ years of experience with major BI platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
• Expertise in BI & data architecture design and implementation best practices.
• Experience in Solution Architect design with Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Data Lake, and Data Warehousing on cloud.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with experience presenting to senior executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing comprehensive RFP responses in partnership with Pre-Sales and/or Marketing functions.
• Professional agility and strategic thinking.
