About the position

The Tableau Programmer/Developer role is focused on leveraging extensive experience in Tableau and SQL to develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions. The position requires a strong background in data analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Debug and improve query performance.
• Deploy SSIS packages using git check-in and set up environmental variables.
• Create and maintain jobs in SQL Agent.
• Utilize TSQL, SSRS, and Talend for reporting solutions.
• Implement code control/versioning using Team Foundation.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of prior experience in programming and development.
• More than 5 years of experience with Tableau.
• More than 5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• More than 5 years of expertise with TSQL, SSRS, SSIS, or Talend.
• Experience with debugging and improving query performance.
• Experience with deploying SSIS packages using git check-in.
• Experience with Transact-SQL and stored procedures is desired.
• Experience with creating, deploying, and maintaining Talend reports.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional analysis skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
