About the position
Capgemini is seeking a Tableau Reporting Architect to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance of Tableau reports and ensuring effective design while working with multiple data sources such as HIVE, HDFS, and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the banking industry, with at least 7 years of experience in Tableau, particularly in a banking environment. The role requires hands-on experience in building reports on large data sets, specifically within an Oracle data warehouse of approximately 140TB. The Tableau Reporting Architect will be responsible for supporting regulatory reporting under tight deadlines, necessitating a solid understanding of reporting architecture and system design. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications in technical system design. The position demands proficiency in creating and designing Tableau dashboards using various features such as Crosstabs, LOD actions, and parameters. Additionally, the ability to create custom SQL for dataset creation and troubleshooting is essential. Flexibility in developing dashboards with minimal design requirements is crucial, along with experience in Tableau server administrative functions and project organization. The candidate should also have advanced SQL and Hadoop skills, knowledge of relational data modeling, and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems independently while managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Fix issues on Tableau reports and enhance performance.
- Design effective reports while working with multiple data sources like HIVE, HDFS, and Oracle.

Requirements
- 7 years of experience with Tableau, preferably in a banking environment.
- Hands-on experience in building reports on large Oracle data warehouses (140TB).
- Experience with JIRA and Agile processes.
- Extensive experience in supporting regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in technical system design.
- Ability to create and design Tableau dashboards.
- Advanced SQL and Hadoop skills.
- Knowledge of relational data modeling.
