About the position

The Tableau Reporting Architect at Capgemini is responsible for architecting reporting and visualization solutions using Tableau and other data consumption tools. This role involves managing Tableau server functions, designing and implementing data solutions, and supporting regulatory reporting within a banking environment. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects while effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architect reporting, visualization, and data consumption solutions using Tableau.
  • Manage Tableau server administrative functions and organize projects.
  • Design and implement solutions for data reporting.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems independently across multiple initiatives.
  • Build reporting platforms on large Oracle Data Warehouses (140TB).
  • Support regulatory reporting with challenging deadlines.
  • Create and design Tableau dashboards using Crosstabs, LOD actions, and parameters.
  • Develop custom SQL for dataset creation and troubleshooting.
  • Flexibly develop dashboarding solutions with minimal design requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and business teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience with Tableau products and services, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of reporting architecture and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau architecture and server administration.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Hadoop.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with JIRA and Agile processes.
  • Knowledge of relational data modeling using on-prem and cloud data systems.
