About the position

The Tableau Specialist role is a contract position focused on data visualization and analytics using Tableau software. The specialist will be responsible for creating interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and maintain existing visualizations while staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements
• Analyze and understand complex data sources to provide actionable insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize reporting requirements
• Maintain and update existing Tableau visualizations
• Train and support end users in utilizing Tableau functionality
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in Tableau software

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience working with Tableau software
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
