About the position

The Range Complex Sustainment Coordinator / Range Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational, environmental, and information management expertise to support Fleet training range complexes and operations. This role involves monitoring range utilization, coordinating environmental planning documentation, and ensuring compliance with environmental requirements while supporting the overall mission readiness of the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational, environmental, and information management expertise and support onsite at the range complex.
• Monitoring range utilization and coordinating the electronic Range Complex Management Plan (eRCMP) update.
• Support environmental planning documentation for training activities.
• Monitor and track implementation of environmental requirements associated with range/OPAREA activities.
• Support data collection for range sustainment projects such as environmental planning (EIS/OEIS), eRCMPs, and marine mammal reporting.
• Update and maintain EIS/eRCMP crosswalk tools in DCAST.
• Coordinate efforts between assigned command, PACFLT environmental and range staff, USN region, and local range management authorities.
• Help identify emerging encroachment challenges on fleet training missions.
• Participate in oversight of fleet range sustainment programs as directed by PACFLT.
• Support development and review of other fleet range sustainment projects, such as range condition assessment updates and environmental compliance documents.
