About the position

The Tactical Support Engineer at BlueWater Federal Solutions will provide essential system support services to SOCOM, focusing on various technical areas including tactical software, mapping, imagery, geospatial information systems, network administration, and training support.

Responsibilities

• Provide system support services in Tactical Software Support.
• Support Mapping, Imagery, and Geospatial Information Systems.
• Administer Tactical Network Support.
• Provide Training Support and Enhancement.
• Assist with Upgrade Support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems, or equivalent technical training with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of operational experience within the last 8 years supporting the assigned Component.
• 5+ years of operational experience with navigation and mission planning techniques, including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems or mission planning computer systems.
• Experience with the assigned Component's tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
• Knowledge of assigned Component's operations and tactics.
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
