About The Position
The Taekwondo Instructor position at TumbleKick Taekwondo & Gymnastics Studio is designed for individuals passionate about teaching martial arts to children. This role requires a black belt in Taekwondo, regardless of the discipline, and is part of a family-owned business founded by Taekwondo Master and World Champion, Bong C. Kim. With over three decades of experience in the martial arts industry, Master Kim has established a legacy that is recognized in various media outlets, including the LA Times and MTV. TumbleKick aims to provide a unique and dynamic experience for children, blending traditional martial arts with modern teaching methods. The curriculum is primarily Kukkiwon-based, featuring WT style sparring and distinct poomsae, making it both enjoyable for instructors and students alike. As a Taekwondo Instructor, you will be responsible for leading classes, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children, and fostering their interest in martial arts. The position is part-time, with expected hours ranging from 6 to 20 hours per week, and requires availability for weekend shifts as needed. The role is ideal for individuals who are not only skilled in Taekwondo but also have a passion for teaching and mentoring young students in their martial arts journey.
