The position involves layout and piece marking of duct drawings, as well as creating electronic files that contain construction standards and details for the fabrication of the duct represented on the drawings. The role requires a thorough review of plans, contract documents, and release information to determine the proper scope of work provided by SEMCO. Collaboration with the Take Off To Build (TOTB) team is essential to establish layout, supply, and manufacturing plans. The individual must ensure that electronic representations of the plans are accurate and that markings on drawings align with proprietary software applications. Additionally, the role includes reporting discrepancies that may impact order fulfillment and requires effective communication with various teams including Sales, Reps, and contractors/engineers. The position also entails creating detailed electronically fabricated sketches for shop fabrication and maintaining accurate documentation.
