About the position

The Talend ETL Developer role involves developing new programs and enhancing existing ones to support various team initiatives. The developer will participate in production rollouts and support applications during production events, ensuring effective collaboration with various technologies and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new programs and enhance existing programs to support various team initiatives.
• Contribute to technical documentation and follow standard version control procedures.
• Analyze database-related or data-related issues and provide required fixes with quick turnaround.
• Participate in production rollout and support applications developed during production events.
• Perform sanity testing of applications during production or test environment rollouts.
• Work with Data and Intelligence, Data Management, and ETL Data Integration.
• Collaborate effectively with various technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ETL Development experience using Talend software.
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases (RDBMS) like Oracle.
• Experience writing complex queries, procedures, and functions.
• Experience writing and modifying complex stored procedures.
• Knowledge of data profiling and analysis, mapping and documentation, data flow analysis, and data quality checks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell Script or Perl Script.
