About the position

The Talend ETL Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Talend. This role requires strong technical skills in ETL, SQL, and Unix, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The engineer will focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time while managing change and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes using Talend.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Estimate effort and duration for solutions.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of solutions.
• Manage change and deployment processes, including post go-live verification.
• Collaborate with technical infrastructure teams for server and network resources.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Talend ETL.
• Strong Unix skills.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical knowledge to business stakeholders.
• Strong design and architecture mindset for supportability and flexibility.
• Proficient in coding and testing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Big Data and Hadoop Talend technology.
• Familiarity with JDA/Blue Yonder SCPO Ordering modules.
• Experience with other ETL tools outside of Talend.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with SaaS-based and on-premise solutions.
• Experience integrating multiple systems in a Supply Chain context.
• Retail and Supply Chain experience.
• Ability to lead junior engineers.
