About the position

The Talent Acquisition Advisor at Greystar is responsible for developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies to meet hiring goals and fill open positions with qualified candidates. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating offers, while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The advisor collaborates with business leaders to understand staffing needs and supports onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with hiring policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Post and advertise open positions, review candidate resumes, and manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Build partnerships with regional leaders to prioritize staffing needs and influence staffing decisions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Operations to ensure consistent application of recruitment processes and a welcoming candidate experience.
  • Consult with hiring managers to assess and select qualified talent, providing guidance for effective selection decisions.
  • Engage in proactive sourcing and identification of top talent for open requisitions, conducting thorough pre-screens as needed.
  • Work with Talent Management and Compensation to ensure accurate job documentation and market pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain necessary documentation related to open positions.
  • Recommend and execute effective recruitment strategies, including job fairs and college recruitment programs.
  • Educate business leaders on talent acquisition systems and processes, facilitating selection and hiring.
  • Promote a positive candidate experience and communicate hiring process status to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Meet key benchmarks for recruiting effectiveness and collaborate with HRIS for reporting needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on recruiting systems and facilitate training for managers.
  • Organize specialized recruiting efforts, including diversity recruiting strategies and staffing for acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Experience in investment management and mid-level HR sourcing.
  • Proven recruiting and interviewing skills, particularly in a real estate or property management context.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar talent acquisition systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies for diverse talent pools.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations and compliance requirements in the real estate sector.
