About the position

The Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist at QPSI is responsible for attracting top talent and facilitating employee development initiatives to enhance the workforce. This role involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process, fostering a positive candidate experience, and collaborating with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic work environment, focusing on innovative recruitment strategies and employee training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of recruitment process, from conceptualization through completion of the onboarding program for new hires.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiations and new hire onboarding.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and improve strategies.
  • Evaluate employee performance and development plans, offering guidance and support.
  • Facilitate employee training and recommend development programs to address identified gaps.
  • Recruit and identify top talent using all available sources, including referrals, passive recruiting, job boards, campus events, Internet mining, and networking events.
  • Act as a talent advisor with key stakeholders to identify innovative recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates and keep in line with industry trends.
  • Advance company's brand across numerous markets and professional communities while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand and fulfill staffing needs.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines specific to organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of recruitment, training, or related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Full Cycle Recruiting, Preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Training & Development, Preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques and best practices.
  • Experience developing and supporting talent management programs.
  • Proficiency in negotiation tactics to attract and retain top talent.
  • Creativity to identify talent pools using job boards and online resources.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take the initiative.
  • Strong behavioral and competency-based interviewing experience.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with HRIS system, ADP preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
