About the position

The Corporate Talent Acquisition and Enablement Manager at Allied Universal is responsible for overseeing recruiting operations and full-cycle recruiting for the company's growth business units. This role involves collaborating with leadership and recruiting teams to enhance applicant flow, process efficiency, and system effectiveness, while also providing training and coaching to improve recruiting strategies and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Director of Recruiting Enablement, business unit leaders, and external vendors to advance recruiting operations through reporting, process improvement plans, and training.
  • Provide formal and informal training and coaching to recruiting teams and leaders on interview trends and techniques, focusing on job descriptions, requisition management, and assessing competencies.
  • Develop effective recruiting strategies through ongoing analysis of market conditions, talent landscape, applicant flow data, sourcing methods, social media, and recruiting metrics.
  • Communicate with recruiting teams and leadership, presenting creative solutions for addressing gaps in job posting performance, sourcing strategy effectiveness, and time-to-hire delays.
  • Partner with the Marketing Department to strengthen the talent brand and develop comprehensive analytics and metrics to monitor recruitment progress and strategies of each business unit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to effectively match candidate profiles with competency requirements, cultural fit, and diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to establish multi-channel sourcing and talent pipelining strategies.
  • Influence leadership throughout the talent selection process to ensure effective partnerships and streamline the interview process, quality of hire, and overall candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Organize and lead review discussions with leadership and manage details from negotiation to onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of six years of recruiting experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of eight years of recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of five years of recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience coaching, training, and influencing hiring managers/team members.
  • Proven experience coaching and training while managing a desk of open and pipeline searches; ability to thrive on accountability for individual and team performance.
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System, preferably iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Analytical skills to identify trends through data analysis and problem-solving, with critical thinking and change management skills to create solutions for cultural and process changes.
  • Self-motivated, agile, confident, persuasive, with sound judgement and the ability to take initiative and influence leadership.
  • Advanced level knowledge leading full lifecycle recruiting for exempt and nonexempt positions, including sourcing, qualifying, assessing, legal compliance, job analysis, and wage trends.
  • Collaborative and consultative relationship skills, with the ability to act as a talent advisor with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, able to modify messaging based on the audience.
