About the position

The Connection Talent Acquisition team is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our business needs. You will be responsible for managing the integrity of our applicant tracking system, ensuring that all candidate and new hire data is accurate and compliant with company policies. Your attention to detail will be essential as you monitor applicant data and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process. As a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist, you will also manage the Connection Intern Program, overseeing the employee referral program and organizing the entire referral process. This includes creating content, communicating with referrals, and managing the logistics of the program. You will own and execute the new hire onboarding process, which involves preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientation sessions, and maintaining employee records, whether in paper or electronic format. In addition to these responsibilities, you will coordinate interviews and meetings by collaborating closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and other staff across the organization. You may also conduct initial screenings of candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications for the roles they are applying for. Your role will involve partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to execute recruitment processes and administration, ensuring that all postings are accurate and reflect the needs of the business. You will also be responsible for preparing materials for career fairs, both onsite and virtual, and may attend campus programs to promote our internship opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity and compliance of candidate and new hire data in the applicant tracking system.
  • Monitors applicant data and follows up with candidates during the hiring process.
  • Manages the Connection Intern Program and oversees the employee referral program.
  • Organizes the employee referral process, including content creation and communication.
  • Owns and executes new hire onboarding, including preparing onboarding content and conducting sessions.
  • Maintains employee records, both paper and electronic.
  • Coordinates interviews and meetings with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
  • Conducts initial screenings of candidates to assess qualifications.
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to execute recruitment processes and administration.

Requirements
