About the position

At Children's Happy Teeth and Happy Braces (CHT), we are dedicated to providing quality care and exceptional customer service in our full-service pediatric dental office. Since our establishment in 2013, we have been committed to treating our patients with the utmost care and professionalism. We are currently seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. This role is crucial in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top-notch clinical and non-clinical professionals who align with our mission and values. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our Director of Human Resources to develop effective recruitment strategies that attract high-quality candidates. Your expertise in the healthcare industry will be invaluable as you help us build a team that shares our commitment to excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies tailored to attract both clinical and non-clinical professionals. You will build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, utilizing various channels such as social media, job boards, and industry events. Your role will also involve sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and align with our practice's mission, vision, and core values. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and reference checks. Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment will be essential to continuously improve our strategies and promote the CHT brand effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract non-clinical and clinical professionals to join CHT.
  • Build talent pools by maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and cultivating a strong network of passive talent.
  • Source, screen, and interview potential candidates, ensuring they meet the required qualifications and align with our practice's mission, vision, and core values.
  • Identify and attract quality candidates by participating in campus recruiting, career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, and social media.
  • Utilize our Applicant Tracking System to ensure all candidate information (resumes, contact and pre-employment information) is stored in the ATS.
  • Build and maintain a network of clinical and non-clinical professionals, leveraging channels such as social media, job boards, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and update the organizational chart with filled and unfilled positions.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, conducting background and reference checks, and updating recruitment trackers on updates per applicant.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, providing necessary information and support.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities such as Background Checks, Reference Checks, and Onboarding Requirements.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our recruitment strategies.
  • Promote the CHT Brand.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a talent acquisition role.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring clinical and non-clinical professionals.
  • Must have personal integrity and accept accountability for actions and decisions.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in high volume recruiting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively use recruitment software and tools (Breezy, Indeed, LinkedIn, Criteria).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
