As a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist at Eccles Express, you will play a crucial role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and managing job postings to attract a diverse range of applicants. You will review applications, conduct interviews, and lead the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Your ability to track and analyze hiring metrics will be vital in assessing the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and making data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will monitor the performance of new hires and provide feedback and coaching to help them succeed in their roles. Your participation in retention activities will be key to enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction, contributing to a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job postings to attract a wide range of applicants.
  • Review applications and schedule interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Lead interviews to identify and select the best candidates.
  • Complete electronic onboarding documentation and track candidates through the process.
  • Schedule training for candidates.
  • Track, monitor, and report hiring statistics to senior management.
  • Monitor weekly job performance of new hires and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Participate in activities aimed at enhancing employee retention and engagement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of hiring processes and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to track and analyze hiring metrics.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
