About the position

The HR / Talent Acquisition Assistant will support the Talent Acquisition Team by managing the onboarding process for new hires. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completion of HR onboarding documents, processing background checks, scheduling lab appointments, and assisting with employee orientation. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using various HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Process onboarding of new hires using the ATS Applicant Tracking System Healthcaresource.
  • Check for accuracy and completion of all HR onboarding documents.
  • Process and ensure timely completion of all background checks.
  • Schedule lab appointments for new hires with LabCorp and ensure attendance and completion.
  • Submit lab results through the system.
  • Assist with scheduling new hires for Employee Orientation and support the event in person.
  • Share information with new employees through an established PowerPoint template.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of current experience as an HR Assistant, Recruiting Assistant, or Onboarding Assistant (3 years preferred).
  • Experience with at least one Applicant Tracking System.
  • Experience with one Background check system.
  • Experience with one HR system.
  • GED or High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
