This position is crucial in managing HR data and leading a small team of Talent Specialists in a high-volume, high-turnover environment. In this role, the manager will provide leadership and direction in daily decision-making related to talent acquisition, managing company risk, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies. The manager will be responsible for planning and executing recruiting strategies tailored to specific job requirements while maintaining an adequate candidate flow. Additionally, the manager will motivate and manage direct reports, providing feedback, evaluating performance, and developing employee skills to support professional development. Collaboration with HR Business Partners is essential to support hiring needs, and the manager will drive alignment across various locations to ensure consistent practices, processes, and solutions. The role also involves reviewing and compiling EEO data to support annual AAP planning and ensuring that talent acquisition processes align with DEIB objectives. The manager will manage relationships with external recruiters and vendors, track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics to assess and continuously improve performance, efficiency, and capability. Furthermore, in partnership with Corporate Talent Acquisition, the manager will oversee the Winchester college recruiting program, focusing on creating an engaged student pipeline with an emphasis on diversity and conversion to full-time hires.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction in daily decision-making related to Talent Acquisition.
  • Manage company risk and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition and HR compliance, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience supervising and developing teams.
  • Work experience with an OFCCP regulated employer.
  • Experience managing HR compliance programs and metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  • Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time and possess a valid US driver's license.
