About the position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Balchem Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This position focuses on sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and facilitating onboarding processes to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, communicating arrangements with both candidates and interviewers.
  • Source, identify, qualify, and deliver passive and/or active candidates for assigned client groups, including all exempt level positions, using various recruiting methods.
  • Verify job descriptions, create requisitions, post jobs, review and disposition resumes, and manage scheduling and onboarding within the ATS.
  • Leverage advanced features of the ATS to create talent pipelines and manage scheduling and onboarding functions.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the candidate pool and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in implementing best practices into the recruitment function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a recruiting coordinator role with a strong interest in sourcing and supporting exempt level sales, leadership, professional, and technical positions.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Experience supporting exempt level positions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization and with external customers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities, keen attention to detail, effective time management, and organizational skills are required.
  • Results-oriented with a high sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Positive, go-getter attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
