About the position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at McGough plays a crucial role in supporting the recruitment and hiring processes within the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating various aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process while prioritizing candidate satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating an excellent candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and streamline various aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and offer logistics.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process while prioritizing candidate satisfaction.
  • Assist with campus recruitment efforts and attend job fairs and events.
  • Support the McGough Internship Program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective talent, hiring managers, employees, external networks, educational institutions, and search firms.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience in talent acquisition.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams, the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms, LinkedIn, job boards, and social media platforms supporting talent acquisition efforts.
  • Commitment to advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) priorities within the organization.
  • Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking, effective problem-solving, and adaptability in complex situations.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities, paired with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Ability to work with confidential data while maintaining privacy.
  • Capability to professionally voice concerns and adeptly manage conflicts.
  • Positive can-do attitude and continual learner.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years of related experience in talent acquisition.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with full life cycle recruitment process.
  • Experience in hiring within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques.
