About the position

The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager at Republic Services plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruiting solutions, initiatives, programs, processes, and tools that support the overall Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy. The manager will work closely with leaders across the Talent Acquisition teams to ensure that processes are automated and that talent data is captured in a single system, specifically Workday. This role requires a deep understanding of the interplay between human efforts and system functionalities to streamline processes and increase recruitment efficiency. In this position, the manager will regularly conduct audits to ensure that all talent acquisition data is accurate and current. They will inform TA leaders about trends, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. Utilizing data and metrics, the manager will track recruitment performance, identify areas for optimization, and anticipate future needs, implementing necessary projects and process improvements. Collaboration with Talent Acquisition Leadership and cross-functional teams is essential to create reporting that enables informed, data-driven decision-making regarding the candidate funnel, hiring process, and capacity. The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager will also manage relationships with external vendors who handle critical components of the TA processes, supporting integration updates and project management. They will lead projects that support TA initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects requiring TA operations involvement, including training and ongoing optimization efforts. Additionally, the manager will oversee the TA SharePoint and support sites, process documents, and develop training materials while providing training to TA professionals. Staying updated with market trends and current recruiting topics is crucial for making informed recommendations when new issues arise.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across the Talent Acquisition teams to automate processes that capture talent data in Workday.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure talent acquisition data is accurate and current.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Create reporting that enables informed, data-driven decision-making regarding candidate funnel and hiring process.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors involved in TA processes.
  • Lead projects supporting TA initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Manage TA SharePoint and support sites, process documents, and develop training materials.
  • Stay updated with market trends and make recommendations for solutions.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in data analytics and reporting or six-sigma certifications.
  • 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition or related HR experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, and connecting to databases.
