About the position

The Talent Acquisition Data Analytics Manager at Republic Services plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition (TA) function. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruiting solutions, initiatives, programs, processes, and tools that support the overall recruitment strategy. The manager will work closely with leaders across the Talent Acquisition teams to ensure that processes are automated and that talent data is captured in a single system, specifically Workday. This role encompasses the full TA lifecycle, focusing on streamlining processes to improve recruiting outcomes. In this position, the manager will regularly conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and currency of all talent acquisition data. They will inform TA leaders about trends, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. Utilizing data and metrics, the manager will track recruitment performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement projects and process improvements. Collaboration with Talent Acquisition Leadership and cross-functional teams is essential to create reporting that enables informed, data-driven decision-making regarding the candidate funnel, hiring process, and capacity. The manager will also manage relationships with external vendors who handle critical components of the TA processes, supporting integration updates, project management, and related process changes. Leading projects that support TA initiatives and participating in cross-functional projects requiring TA operations involvement will be key responsibilities. Additionally, the manager will oversee the TA SharePoint and support sites, process documents, and develop training materials while providing training to TA professionals. Staying updated with market trends and current topics in recruiting will be crucial for making informed recommendations when new issues arise.

Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders across the Talent Acquisition teams to ensure appropriate automation of processes that capture talent data in a single system (Workday).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all talent acquisition data is accurate and current, informing TA leaders on trending, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment performance and identify areas to optimize recruiting processes; identify current gaps, anticipate future possibilities and needs, and implement projects and process improvements.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Leadership and cross-functional teams to create reporting that enables informed and data-driven decision making regarding candidate funnel, hiring process, and capacity.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors who manage critical components of our TA processes, supporting integration updates, project management, and other related process changes.
  • Lead projects supporting TA initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects requiring TA operations involvement, including training and ongoing TA optimization efforts.
  • Manage TA SharePoint and support sites, process documents, and develop training documents while providing training to TA professionals.
  • Stay up to date with the market and current topics in recruiting and understand the business to make recommendations for solutions when any new issues arise.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in data analytics and reporting or six-sigma certifications.
  • 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition or related HR experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, and connecting to databases.
